Neatly combining both an audio interface and a control surface the Icon AIO 6 is an incredibly powerful and flexible device.
As an audio interface it is well appointed; incorporating a total of 6 inputs and 6 outputs at a resolution of up to 24 bit, 192 kHz over high-speed USB 2.0. There are 2 dual microphone / instrument preamps with individual gain control and phantom power, 2 analogue line inputs and 4 outputs on balanced TRS jacks, as well as 2 headphone outputs and S/PDIF I/O.
When it comes to control, there is an array of 7 faders; 2 of which control analogue outputs 1+2 and 3+4, while the remainder bring 4 channels and the master fader from your DAW directly under your fingers. Not only that, you also have access to a jog wheel for fast search, transport buttons including Play, Stop, Record, Rewind, Fast Forward and Loop, Channel/Bank selection, Zoom keys, Marker keys, individual Record-enable, Solo and Mute controls for each channel and 5 encoder knobs for intuitive DAW integration.
Housed in a robust aluminium shell with a Kensington lock port, the AIO 6 really is the complete package.
